Scoring Formations
To score points and gain free board space one must form vertical,
horizontal or diagonal lines of five or more
gems
of the same type. It's
just like playing bingo game where your
goal is to create a horizontal, vertical
or diagonal line. Combined
formations of vertical, horizontal or diagonal lines are also accepted.
Scoring
Bonus for scoring formations depends on the number of
gems in
formation. The more
gems are information, the higher is the bonus.

Tricks
Tricks help playing the
game longer. A trick turns a semi-scoring
formation (i.e. a formation that looks like a scoring
formation except for a single gem of a different type) into a scoring
formation by altering color of the blocking gem. All it takes is a right-mouse
click on the blocking gem. Tricks are awarded every 50 points.
You can use the tricks to save the
situation even at the end of the game
when the entire board is full.
Game Setup
Starting with version 3.00 the
game
board is configurable and you can change
the board size from small (5x5) to large
(15x15).
Also, you can control how many different
gem types will be used in a
game (3 to
12), and how many
gems are added with
each turn (1 to 7).
Lastly, you can specify your own line
size too ranging from 3 to 10
gems. In
other words you can tailor the
game to
your experience level. All the rules
discussed above still apply.
Undo
Unless playing in 'Hard' mode you can undo
any move that did not result in scoring
formation / bonus or the end of the game.
